A two-week intensive summer residency connecting hands-on agricultural stewardship, natural resource literacy, and legacy enterprise.
Built around communal living, daily reflection, and multi-generational mentorship, the Farmer Initiative bridges land cultivation with the enterprise supply chains that depend on it — energy, food, and spirits. It is a residency, not a tour. Mornings are labor. Evenings are reflection. The people teaching are the people working.

Specialty Cultivation
Soil chemistry, regulatory compliance, plant biology, curing, and bi-product processing. Compliance is taught as core curriculum, not an afterthought.

Agave & Distillation
The agave life cycle from planting through harvest, fermentation, batch production, and finished spirit branding — raw crop to shelf product.
Format & Daily Rhythm
- Cadence — one cohort per summer, fourteen consecutive days on site.
- Who attends — open across generations. Cohorts intentionally mix first-time learners, returning mentors, and skilled agricultural instructors in the same fields.
- Hands-on labor — daily morning fieldwork across soil preparation, crop tending, harvest, and equipment operation.
- Family environment — meals prepared and shared family-style, with intergenerational conversation treated as part of the curriculum.
- Reflect and praise — structured evening sessions for personal reflection, spiritual grounding, and collaborative debrief on the day's work.
